Beer Barbeque Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1/3 Cup Chopped Onion (chop very small)
- 1 Clove Garlic Minced
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 3/4 Cup Bottled Chili Sauce
- 1/2 Cup Beer (use a beer with full flavor)
- 1/4 Cup of Honey
- 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 Table Spoons Brown Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Yellow Mustard
In a medium saucepan cook onion and garlic in hot oil until the
onion is tender. Stir in chili sauce, beer, honey, worcestershire sauce,
brown sugar, and mustard. Bring mixture to a boil, stir to prevent
burning. Reduce heat, and simmer uncovered for about 20 minutes or until
it is a nice consistency, stirring occasionally. Remember when your
sauce is hot it will be thinner then once it is cooled.
Once cool pour into squeeze bottle refrigerate and use as you see
fit. Enjoy and have fun making the sauce your own. Just make sure you
let us know about it.
